Young plants and trees need intensive care, especially in the early stages. Extreme weather conditions, persistent drought and rising temperatures require ever larger quantities of water. As of now, the area machine manufacturer Kersten is offering three different water barrel trailers from Fasswagen.com in its range. The capacity varies between 2,000 and 3,000 liters. The attachment is suitable for various carrier vehicles such as tractors, wheel loaders or cars.
Three models for different areas of application
The water barrel trailers are available in three versions: The “Aqua Runner” municipal version with a capacity of 2,000 liters is especially suitable for operation behind municipal/narrow-track tractors due to its narrow design. With an external width of just 145 cm, watering can also be carried out efficiently on cycle paths, pedestrian paths and in narrow areas.
The second model, the car water barrel trailer, also has a capacity of 2,000 liters and is designed for use with standard cars and flatbed trucks. However, it can also be used on small municipal vehicles thanks to the variable coupling.
The third model with a volume of 3,000 liters is ideal for particularly large quantities of water. The trailer is designed for operation on tractors, wheel loaders and other vehicles with DIN towing eye couplings. It is therefore perfect for construction and municipal applications, as well as for all locations where a lot of water is required.
Other solutions, such as water barrels for the three-point hitch or mounted on hook lift systems, are also available on request.
Perfect combination
The water barrel trailers can be perfectly combined with the Kersten watering arm. “We are delighted to be able to offer an innovative complete solution for irrigation,” says Managing Director Bernd Boßmann. The combination of various water barrels and the two watering arm models HTG 4000 and FS 3000 allows a wide range of plants and trees to be watered - from the comfort of the driver's seat.
Bundling expertise
The strategic partnership makes the difference. The know-how of Fasswagen paired with the manufacturing expertise in Rees makes the entire solution better. Currently, all water barrel trailers are manufactured by Fasswagen in Dietenhofen. In future, assemblies as well as individual trolleys will be manufactured in the Lower Rhine region. “Our products are better together than individually!” says Dominik Stefan, Managing Director of Fasswagen, about the collaboration. Thanks to the technical expertise and many years of experience of both companies, complete irrigation systems can now be offered.
